The Bounder is upholstered in a commercial-grade, PFAS-free performance fabric — the same material used in high-traffic hospitality and healthcare settings. It's bleach-cleanable, stain-resistant, and built for real family life.

Spot Cleaning (Standard Stains)

Remove any loose debris and blot the stain — do not rub.
Mix a solution of 2 oz bleach to 30 oz water in a spray bottle, or use a commercial fabric cleaner with bleach.
Spray the solution on the stain and allow it to soak in. Place a clean towel between the fabric and cushion to absorb excess moisture.
Thoroughly rinse with clean water until the bleach solution is removed.
Blot dry and allow to air dry completely.

Cover Washing Guide

Performance Solid fabric: Spot clean or dry clean only. Do not machine wash.
Designer Patterns (linen, gingham, botanical): Dry clean only. Spot clean minor stains with mild soap and cold water. Do not machine wash or bleach.

Oil-Based Stains (Sunscreen, Salad Dressing, Mustard)

Try a baby wipe first — it works surprisingly well on fresh oil stains.
If needed, mix 2 oz Dawn dish soap with 30 oz water in a spray bottle.
Spray and gently rub/blot the stained area. The solution will foam — that's normal.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water and blot dry. Repeat if needed.
Air dry or use a hairdryer on low.

No dry cleaning solvents — if it's flammable, don't use it.
No aftermarket fabric protectors — these can damage the fabric coating and void your warranty.
No power brush vacuum attachments — they can damage the weave. Use a soft brush only.

Pro Tip: Regular Vacuuming

Frequent vacuuming with a soft brush attachment prevents soil buildup and keeps your Bounder looking fresh between deep cleans. The fabric can also be steam cleaned if necessary.
